Meeramma Foundation is a non-profit organization established with the vision to uplift underprivileged children and create sustainable social impact through education, nutrition, awareness, and community development initiatives.
We are committed to building a society where every child gets equal opportunity, proper guidance, and a safe environment to grow.
How It's Started
The Meeramma Foundation was initiated by Mr. Abhilash Kumar, who was deeply inspired by the dedication and commitment to education exhibited by his grandparents, Meera Devi and Chandrawati Devi(Amma). Both Meera Devi and Chandrawati Devi were teachers who devoted their lives educating and nurturing children even after their retirement.
Moved by the noble cause his grandparents pursued, Mr. Abhilash Kumar, who himself is a teacher, decided to honor their legacy and continue their mission. In recognition of their contributions and with a commitment to furthering the cause of education, he founded the Meeramma Foundation.
